The Bradshaw Family on Schaeffer Academy and Give to the Max

Schools help raise children. You can’t spend six hours a day, five days a week, for twelve years anywhere without being deeply affected by the people and the environment. Schaeffer Academy helped my parents (AJ) raise me in the nurture and admonition of the Lord - which is to say, helped me learn to love God and strive to obey Him. We love God because He first loved us. And people can help us understand that God loves us. At Schaeffer Academy, I was loved. The teachers, the staff, the volunteers, the other kids’ parents, all poured love into the school every day. I am deeply grateful for the love I received. After I went off to college with a full scholarship thanks to Schaeffer’s rigorous academics, I got married and had two beautiful daughters. We moved back to Rochester partly to be near family, partly so our girls could attend Schaeffer Academy. The Schaeffer community is now helping me raise my own kids, and I volunteer at the school to give back some of the love I was given. Thank you for donating to the Schaeffer community and helping raise all of our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
